r
 2.1.3 Soils
I Sitc: specific geotechnical investigation and analysis has been pertortned by
GeoEngineers and is included in Section 7.0. In general, soils onsite are composed of
glacia!till underlain by advance outwash deposits.
I3.0 OFFSITE ANALYSIS
' 3.1 Downstream Analysis
Site discharge wili enter the existing 18-inch storm system in Tower Street. Flow eventually
enters a sanitary sewer treatment plant. No adverse impact to the downstream system is
f anticipated because proposed stormwa[er runoff will enter a closed combined storm and saniWry
system, and the discharge poinks and peak Flows are approximately the same as in the pre-
developed condition.
f3.2 Upstream Analysis
The storm systems within the developed adjacent properties preclude significant offsite
contributory runoff to the site. RunoH from the property to the noRh is contained within the
stormwater mllection system in Tower Street. Runoff from the property [o the east is bordered
by an existing building that provides its own stormwater wllection system. Runoff from the
I property to the west is contained within the bus transit center and provides its own stormwater
collection system. The only appreciable tributary runoff would be from the undeveloped property
located southwest of the site, and the existing parking lot located southeast of the site. The
undeveloped property southwest of[he site is heavily vegetated with a fence that borders the
site. Majority of the runoff within this undeveloped area will infiltrate onsite and be absorbed in
the vegetation. Runoff from the existing parking lot southeast of the site will sheet Flow to the
site and collect in the existing stormwater collection system located on the east portion of the
( site. Tributary runoff to the site is anticipated to be minimal. See Appendix A, Exhibit 4.
4.0 ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF REQUIRED EROSION AND
ISEDIMENT CONTROL BMPS
All new development that inciudes land alteration activities of one acre or more requires specific
I erosion and sediment control. It has been determined that there are no seasonal limitations for
this projecl, as per the Seasonal Limitations Rating Checklist(see Appendix A, Exhibit 7).
I4.1 System Description
• Construction entrance will be provided to reduce the amount of sediment transported onto
parcel roads by vehicles or equipment.
. Filter Fabric Fence will be provided along the downstream perimeter project clearing limits
to capture sediments from impacting downstream properties or roadways.
. Catch basin inlet protection will be placed on all offsite catch basin inlets affected by
construction activities. After installation of onsite catch basins, inlet proteetion will be
provided as work progresses.
. Cover meass will be implemented, and seasonal special provisions shail be required.
Slormwatcr Site Plan OQ O
Everett Community College
Fitness Centcr 3
I 208221.10
