3 <br /> 1.2 The Consultant shall provide independent QA/QC reviews by senior in-house staff of all <br /> deliverables prior to submittal to the City. <br /> Task 1 Deliverables <br /> • Monthly progress reports. <br /> • Meeting minutes. <br /> • QA/QC review comments and meeting minutes. <br /> • Plan review comment form. <br /> • Project schedule using MS Project. <br /> TASK 2—SURVEY AND BASEMAPPING <br /> 2.1 The Consultant shall perform a topographic survey of Shore Avenue west to Sound Avenue, <br /> and the pipeline alignment along the existing sewer easement from Shore Avenue to the <br /> bottom of the bluff.The existing BNSF culvert outfall, seawall 50 feet each side of the <br /> outfall,and beach area will also be surveyed.The new topographic surveyinformation will <br /> be added to the existing project basemap.Underground utilities within the project area will be <br /> located by a utility locating service prior to performing the survey. <br /> 2.2 The Consultant shall perform a survey of significant trees within the proposed pipe alignment <br /> (trunk caliper over 6"in diameter measured 4' up from the ground). <br /> 2.3 The Consultant shall provide legal descriptions and figures for construction easements and <br /> permanent easements on Parcels 0571700900300 and 00571700900400. <br /> Task 2 Assumptions <br /> • Topographic survey and basemap will be performed to City of Everett standards <br /> Task 2 Deliverables <br /> • Survey basemap <br /> • Survey data binders <br /> TASK 3—GEO1E,CHNICAL <br /> 3.1 The Consultant shall perform geotechnical sub-surface exploration along the proposed pipe <br /> alignment in Shore Avenue and within the sewer easement to the face of the bluff,consisting <br /> of four hollow-stem auger borings(15', 15',25' and 20'),with soil samples taken at 2.5-foot <br /> intervals.2"groundwater monitoring wells will be installed in two of the borings.Laboratory <br /> testing will consist of 29 water contents and 4 grain size analyses. <br /> 3.2 A geotechnical report shall be prepared that addresses subsurface data,site conditions, and <br /> recommendations regarding shoring,trenching, anchor blocks and bluff-face reconstruction. <br /> Task 3 Assumptions: <br /> • No geotechnical work will be performed at the toe of the bluff,near the BNSF tracks. <br /> • No street use permits will be required from the City of Everett. <br /> City of Everett-Shore Avenue Storm water Outfall Improvements KPG,Inc. <br /> Exhibit A—Scope of Work Page 2 of 7 1 April2013 <br /> 15 <br />
