Exhibit A
Continued
• The City or the City's permit consultant will acquire all local permits required for compliance with
Snohomish County shoreline management plan, flood hazard regulations, SEPA, and critical
areas regulations.
• The City or the City's permit consultant will provide all cultural resources studies required for
project permitting.
9.6 Supplemental Geotechnical Design for Repair East of 1-5 (Cornforth
Consultants)
The scope for this task is described in Attachment A.
Task 10 - Services During Bidding for Dike Repairs Under 1-5 and the
Dike East of 1-5
The Otak project team will provide assistance during bidding that may include attending the pre-bid
meeting, answering of questions, providing input and review of addenda, and other general assistance
that may be needed during bid phases of work. As the level of effort for this task cannot be quantified at
this time, we have budgeted 17 hours of staff time for Otak, and 10 hours for Cornforth in Attachment A,
that will be used only when and as directed by the City. This scope assumes that the requests for
services during bidding will not exceed 17 hours of staff time for Otak, and 10 hours for Cornforth.
Deliverables
• Responding to questions during bidding, review of addenda, or other assistance during bidding as
directed by the City.
PROJECT ASSUMPTIONS
• Design work is anticipated to begin in November 2019 and finish in August 2020. The advertisement
date will depend on permits.
• If utility potholing is needed, it will be done by others. OTAK will assist with coordinating locations.
• The City will pay for all required permit fees.
• Right-of-way acquisition will be provided by others, except as noted.
• Right of entry will be provided by the City and DD5 where access is needed for design.
• Environmental/permitting will be provided by others, except as noted.
• Construction management support, construction administration, and/or construction inspection
services are not included in this scope of work but may be added at a later time at the discretion of
the City.
DD5 Dike Repairs and Improvements Project 8
otak
K\project\32700\32758\Contract\Proposal 19_0317\Scope forPha-e 2-DD5 dike repairs Under 1-5 and East of I-5_19_1014.docx
