Introduction
B I l o(D-C)o9-
Curnmer, i.d
I n frae l rua lu re
R esi den lief
At the request of Goodman Networks, we have performed a structural analysis of the new and
existing ballasted antenna mounts at SN17 Eastmont in Everett, Washington. The evaluation
was completed in conformance with the 2009 International Building Code, the Steel
Construction Manual (AISC 13) and the American Society of Civil Engineers Standard 7-05
(ASCE/SEE 7-05)under the following site specific conditions:
Basic Wind Speed: 85 mph
Exposure Category: B
Occupancy Category: II
Seismic Site Class: D
Based on our visual inspections performed on December 22, 2010 the existing ballasted antenna
mounts appear to he well maintained and relatively free of corrosion. This evaluation assumes
that the mounts were properly installed per the original design documents, and that they do
not overstress any roof structural elements.
The following sections detail the existing and proposed configurations in the areas subject to
change.
II. Conclusion
The Y.;AW antenna is the worst case for both wind and seismic loads and was used in ollr
analysis. The subject antenna mounts are assumed to be 2-inch diameter standard pipe, and
E
3
v
