rm GC/CM Contract <br /> General Contractor/Construction Manager Services for <br /> Water Pollution Control Facility Expansion <br /> Phase Cl (Liquid Stream) <br /> and may not be made part of a subcontract bid package except when so <br /> required by the Specifications. <br /> 6.6. GC/CM Cost Accounting. <br /> 6.6.1. Accounting. Starting with the award of the first subcontract bid <br /> package, the GC/CM shall, in accordance with directions given and <br /> formats developed by the Owner, provide Owner with monthly reports, <br /> including but not limited to, showing expenditures on all subcontract <br /> bid packages, all Contract changes, and all Negotiated Support <br /> Services costs including forecast-to-Final Completion updates. GC/CM <br /> claims shall be accounted for separately. <br /> 6.7. Performance and Payment Bond. Prior to execution of this Contract by the <br /> Owner the GC/CM shall provide the Owner with a separate Performance <br /> Bond and a separate Payment Bond, each in an amount equal to the full <br /> amount of the Total Contract Cost, in a form and with a surety acceptable to <br /> the Owner. The bonding company (surety) must be registered with the <br /> Washington State Insurance Commissioner, appear on the current Authorized <br /> List in the State of Washington published by the Office of the Insurance <br /> Commissioner, have a current rating of at least A-VII in A.M. Best's Key <br /> Rating Guide, and be included in the U.S. Department of the Treasury's <br /> Listing of Approved Sureties (Circular 570). The premium cost for the bonds <br /> shall be part of the Percent Fee Percentage. <br /> ARTICLE 7 SUBCONTRACTING <br /> 7.1. Subcontract Plan. GC/CM shall proceed in accordance with the Subcontract <br /> Plan <br /> 7.1.1. GC/CM may, upon prior notice to Owner, modify the Subcontract Plan. <br /> Any such modification shall be at the sole risk and responsibility of the <br /> GC/CM, and without any modification to the Total Contract Cost. If the <br /> Work is modified by Change Order, in a manner in which the GC/CM <br /> believes may impact the Subcontract Plan, the GC/CM shall submit for <br /> review and approval an updated Subcontract Plan, and comply with <br /> any claim and notice requirements of the Contract Documents for <br /> compensation. <br /> City of Everett Page 16 of 25 December, 2013 <br /> Water Pollution Control Facility Expansion <br /> 31 <br />
