A review by the Planning Commission of reasons supporting the proposed changes shows
they were based on informed assumptions made by the Mukilteo School District concerning
its future student population growth and facility needs, and
5. It is the express opinion of the Planning Commission that the proposed changes in the Capital
Facilities Plan will in fact propose a more desirable growth pattern for the community as a
whole,in part through timely provision of needed school facilities, and
6. There are no known conflicts between the instant proposal and other policies and text found
in the Comprehensive Plan, and
7. The public health, safety and welfare would be provided for by passage of this Ordinance,
and
8. This proposed Comprehensive Plan text amendment promotes the best long term interest of
the Everett Community.
29 - 3 -
