16 <br />• Additional evaluation services relating to Sewer "M", from February, 2013 through <br />September, 2013 during the period of PSO3 work. <br />• Credit for water system improvements deleted from the project. <br />C. Amendment No. 3 includes: <br />1. Project re -start activities commencing December 11, 2013. <br />2. Extended project management to support the revised project schedule between October <br />1, 2013 and the completion of construction of Phase 1 on or about January, 2016, or 28 <br />months. <br />3. Cost escalation of project Phase 1 elements originally scheduled for completion in mid - <br />June, 2013, per Amendment No. 1, to be completed in September 2014, or 15 months. <br />4. Completion of design of modified Phase 1 elements, as described in Amendment No. 2, <br />from a 60% level to 100% level of design. <br />5. Mapping and design of sewer separation for areas originally designated as part of <br />Phase 2 that were subject to basement flooding during storms in August and September <br />of 2013. These included all areas on Grand Avenue, and one additional block on <br />Rucker Avenue. Work includes completion of design from 0% to 100% level of design <br />development. <br />6. Deletion of the Grand Avenue Trunk Sewer as described in Amendment No. 2, except <br />insofar as portions of the work have been completed, as authorized. This drawing will <br />be replaced with one having a design for drainage from Grand Avenue, north of 14th <br />Street, to connect to the SD trunk at 15th and Grand Avenue. <br />7. Revisions to previously designed stormwater system and combined sewer conveyance, <br />based on PSO3 studies. Revisions to the design completed to 60% level of completion <br />under Amendment No. 1 and No. 2 are required at or near 15th St. and Grand Avenue <br />as needed to support the Utility Bridge project. <br />8. Revisions to flow measurement design in location and method, based on the above <br />conveyance system modifications, with completion of design from 0% to 100%. <br />9. Hydraulic modeling for new storm frequencies and intensities, for concept development, <br />design confirmation, and coordination between construction phases and other project <br />elements. <br />10. Surveying and Mapping for Phase 2 improvements, including remaining Sewer M <br />project area not otherwise added to Phase 1. <br />11. Additional basement surveys of properties on Grand Avenue, who were impacted by <br />storms of 2013, or who have the potential of being impacted, by storm -induced sewer <br />surcharging. <br />12. Expanded cost estimating to encompass new Phase 1 project elements as described <br />herein. <br />13. Expanded and revised public involvement activities to update information as it may <br />change due to revisions in the project and in Phase 1 activities. <br />2. BASIS OF WORK, AMENDMENT NO. 3 <br />This scope of work for this amendment is based on the following basis of the work: <br />a. The period of work encompassed -by this Amendment is October 1, 2013 through <br />January, 2016 or 28 months to include construction assistance as described in <br />Amendment No. 1. <br />b. The work described by this Amendment includes only those activities and services <br />described in Paragraph 1 C (above) for this Amendment.
