7 <br /> Project Area <br /> The Project Area shall be as defined in the original contract and, as necessary for clarification of <br /> scope, shall be further identified within each task order. <br /> ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> MacLeod Reckord will contract with qualified subconsultants, including, but not limited to ESA, <br /> KPFF Consulting Engineers, West Consultants. Roles and responsibilities are as follows: <br /> 1. MacLeod Reckord—Project management, agency coordination, trail/access design and <br /> restoration documentation, overall document coordination, construction administration, <br /> project oversight. <br /> 2. ESA Adolfson—Environmental science, wetland/stream/shoreline enhancement and <br /> creation design and documentation, permit coordination and documentation support, and <br /> construction administration. <br /> 3. KPFF—Civil engineering, storm drainage and utility design and documentation, and <br /> construction administration. <br /> 4. WEST Consultants—Hydrological modeling on an as-needed basis to support <br /> wetland/stream/shoreline enhancement and creation. <br /> All work authorized under this amendment to the PSA shall be scoped and negotiated for hours, <br /> project billable non-salary reimbursable costs and fee. All work shall be authorized using the Task <br /> Order Document process. <br /> GENERAL PROJECT ASSUMPTIONS <br /> 1. Topographic and bathymetric survey and boundary mapping will be as provided by others <br /> through CITY. Cost for same is not directly included in this proposal, however may be <br /> covered under Contingency allocation. Underground utilities will be marked by a private <br /> locator. <br /> 2. Coordination with other CITY Consultants and Developer is at the direction and with the <br /> approval of CITY. <br /> 3. Ongoing Work of Group 1, Group 2, or the private developer will be incorporated into the <br /> design package generated by Group 3, however contracting for work by other Groups will be <br /> directly with the CITY. <br /> 4. LEEDTm Process is not included at this time, however sustainable building practices will be <br /> incorporated into site and building design as program and budget allow. <br /> 5. No geotechnical evaluation is included in this contract. No sediment testing or other testing <br /> for contaminants is anticipated as part of the NWC site analysis and reporting. It is <br /> anticipated the work will not require any special instructions for handling of excavated soils <br /> due to chemical concentrations. <br /> 6. Scope anticipates incorporating final CITY and agency comments on the previously <br /> submitted 60% plan set into the 90% submittal. There will be one review at the 90% design <br /> submittal. <br /> PERMIT PREPARATION AND SUBMITTAL ASSUMPTIONS <br /> 1. The NWC project is anticipated to be permitted under a Nationwide Permit, and <br /> documentation has been, and will continue to be, provided to meet the review criteria for <br /> same. Should technical data not specifically identified in this scope be required by agencies <br /> during permit review, scope and fee may require revision. It is not anticipated that any other <br /> 2 <br /> 10 <br />
