6 <br />(8) Responsibilities of Ecology: <br />Ecology's responsibilities shall include: <br />1. Providing project management, oversight and documentation of the <br />Work performed by its agents, employees, consultants, contractors, <br />and subcontractors for each Property. <br />2. In the event a change needs to be made by Ecology in the Work for <br />this Property, submitting an amendment to this Owner Agreement <br />to the City for signature. <br />3. Communicating, coordinating, and scheduling with City <br />representatives on activities relating to the remediation and <br />restoration for each Property. Normal daily equipment operation <br />will be 7:30 am to 4:30 pm on weekdays. In the unlikely event <br />that Work is required for a weekend day or legal holiday, Ecology <br />will request access during this time from the City of Everett at a <br />minimum of seven (7) calendar days in advance of that day. <br />Ecology will provide regular communication with City <br />representatives during the Duration of the Agreement related to the <br />progress of the Work. This communication will typically be <br />provided by Ecology's on -site field representatives. <br />4. Investigating potential construction issues or other situations that <br />may be related to the Work if requested by City representatives. <br />Ecology's investigation procedure is summarized in Access <br />Condition (9 — Ecology Investigation of Reported Issues) of this <br />Owner Agreement. <br />5. Together with the contractor, providing a safe workplace during <br />the Work in compliance with any federal, state, or local laws, <br />ordinances, or regulations that are applicable. This provision shall <br />include: <br />• Communicating safety guidelines and requirements to City <br />representatives during the performance of Work. <br />Supervising contractors to reduce dust and noise as much as <br />possible during Work on the Property. Procedures to reduce <br />dust and noise shall be as specified in the contract documents. <br />o Providing visual and non -visual safety warnings as required <br />providing safe passage (e.g. Caution tape, cones, signs, etc.) <br />around work areas. <br />✓ Providing fence barriers for Work areas to restrict access by the <br />public. <br />354 <br />
