It is the <br />ApplicanYs intent to replace an existing PUD wood pole on-site with an <br />89 foot high wood pole. Wkh increasad height there will be en increase <br />in the amount of coverage within the cell between Evergreen Way from <br />47th to SR 526. The increased cell will resuR in better wireless <br />telephone servlce for nelghborhoods in the area. The proposed facilit�r is <br />in the public interest and satisfies the need of the community. (exh/blt 1) <br />5. The installatlon and operatlon of the proposed facili!y will not place a <br />burden on the City's infrastrudure. Adequate streets and utilities a�e <br />avallable to serve the proposal. (exhibit 1) <br />6. Whlle there wlll be some construction traffic, the proposed facility will <br />only generate one maintenance trip per month. This ls not an impact on <br />traffic In the area. (exhibit 1) <br />7. On-site is an existing little league bal�ie�d and school. The proposed <br />pole wlll not impact parking avallable for these uses. The only pa�king <br />demand on-slte will be the mafntenance of the site once a mo�th. <br />Adequate parking is available. Traffic circulation is not a problem. <br />(exhlblf 1) <br />8. Antennas are proposed to be mounted on the replacement pole. The <br />antennas wlll be flush with the pole and will be aesthetically unobtrus(ve. <br />The pole is not considered a tower structure. (exhibit 1, Palaclos <br />festlmony) <br />9. A number of poles exist near the ballfield that are used for lighting <br />purposes. These Indude the existing shorter pole. Upon replacement of <br />the shorter pole, the replacement pole wlll be also used for lighting <br />purposes of the ballfield. (exhibR 1, Palacios testimony) <br />10. The closest residence is approximately 100 feet from the proposed site. <br />While the antennas will be visible from the ground, they will not block <br />views or cast shadows.
