4 <br /> Task 3—Design Development for Tunnel Decommissioning <br /> Final Design <br /> Develop final design contract documents and a final cost estimate(100%)in approved <br /> format. The final design will include the following: <br /> • Submit final contract documents and cost estimate(PS&E)to the City,to <br /> include incorporation of all previous City comments. <br /> • Conduct on-site review with the City. <br /> • Perform a quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC)review of all <br /> documents in order to address any relevant issues that may affect the <br /> project. <br /> • Submit City-approved final construction plans and specifications to Dam <br /> Safety. <br /> Task 4—Meetings <br /> Two meetings are planned for the Engineering Report. Two site visits are planned during <br /> construction. <br /> Task 5—Construction Management Assistance <br /> Provide office engineering support to include submittal review,correspondence, <br /> teleconferences, and other items(including two on-site meetings listed above)to support <br /> the contractor's inquiries and field activities. Task 5 shall include: <br /> • Providing the contractor with timely interpretation of the contract <br /> documents as may be requested by the City. <br /> • Reviewing submittals. <br /> • Answering contractor-sponsored requests for information(RFIs). <br /> • Assisting the City with negotiation of change orders, as may be applicable. <br /> • Preparing change orders for the City's review and consideration. <br /> Task 6—Quality Assurance/Quality Control Reviews <br /> Perform a QA/QC review of all 100 percent documents to address relevant issues. <br /> G&O=20145.83 Page 2 of 3 <br /> 17 <br />
