The proposed amendment to the Zoning Code will provide for increased wayfinding for tourist and economic activity by allowing signage at the top of buildings in the downtown, Central Business District(CBD). Current regulations require signage to be at the street level oriented towards the immediate area,and not on upper floors of buildings. The proposed amendment would provide flexibility for signage to act as a wayfinding tool for uses like hotels.
