condition that the said person will faithfully comply with all conditions, requirements and procedures and sections of this Ordinance as now drawn, and as, mayys be subsequently amended, and condit ione4- fur ther° t-hai all side sewer installation done by the licensee shall be in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance; conditioned further, that action on this bond may be brought in the name of the City for the use or benefit of the person for whom such work is performed. The requirements of this sectiron shall 'become effective immediately upon the effectNe date of this Ordinance as to all licensees for the balance of the calendar year of 1965, and all licensees under this chapter shall fur- nish a bond conditioned as herein set forth. Section 3 : That there is hereby, added to Chapter 2.20 a new section to be known as 2.20.081 , to read as follows : 2.20.081 : Side sewer contractor to mark equipment used in work. it shall be unlawful for any person or per- sons, firm, partnership or corporation engaged in the business of side sewer work within the corporate limits of the City csf'Everett to use or operate a digger, back hoe or power shovel unless such equipment so used has plainly displayed thereon the name of the person, firm, partnership or corporation operating such equipment upon such side sewer work. Section 4: That there is added to Chapter 2 .20 a new section to be known as 2.20.082 to read as follows : 2.20.082 : Side sewer contractorto provide sufficient grade for gravity flow to public sewer and to determine that side sewer extension from main public sewer is free and open before makingconnection. It khall be the duty and responsibility of the person, firm, partnership or corporation engaged in making a connection of a private side sewer to a main side sewer extension, at or near the property line, to determine that invert at property line is of sufficient depth to insure proper grade to house or building drain to permit gravity flow from the house to the main side sewer connection. It shall further be the duty and responsibility of such person, firm, partnership or corporation engaged in making a connection of a private side sewer to a main side sewer extension at or near a pro- perty line, to determine that the main side sewer extension from the main side sewer pipe to the property line is open, free and in good working order before making the connection. Section 5 : That Section 2.20. 100 be and the same is. hereby amended to read as follows : 2.20. 100: Permit to connect to public sewer.
