SEPA ENVIRONMENTAL CHECKLIST FOR <br /> Beverly Park Switching Station Expansion AGENCY <br /> P.U.D. NO. 1 of Snohomish County USE <br /> c. Describe any structures on the site. <br /> • The existing switchyard is less than 2 acres of the three parcels consisting <br /> of a control enclosure of single story, masonry structure. Equipment <br /> includes 8 line termination structures, with a maximum height of <br /> approximately 45 feet, switches, and circuit breakers. Overhead <br /> transmission lines, are supported on structures ranging in height of <br /> approximately 60 feet to 85 feet, and enter and exit the switchyard to each <br /> line termination structure. The switchyard is surfaced with crushed rock <br /> and enclosed with a seven to eight foot high security fence. The site is <br /> landscaped along Scenic Drive and the Interurban Trail. <br /> d. Will any structures be demolished? If so, what? <br /> • The existing control enclosure will be demolished and removed from the <br /> site. The security fence along Scenic Drive and the westerly boundary will <br /> remain. Most of the existing equipment will be reused. <br /> e. What is the current zoning classification of the site? <br /> • The site was rezoned to R1-I: Institutional <br /> • City of Everett Planning Commission Resolution No 2005-6 <br /> f. What is the current comprehensive plan designation of the site? <br /> • The Comprehensive Plan designation is Public-Quasi Public(2.8) <br /> Facilities <br /> g. If applicable, what is the current shoreline master program designation of the site? <br /> • N/A <br /> h. Has any part of the site been classified as an "environmentally sensitive" area? If <br /> so, specify. <br /> • Critical Area Map 1 for the City of Everett dated April 2009 indicates high <br /> slopes, Category II wetland to the east of the site, Type NS Stream within <br /> the northern undisturbed portion of the site and Type F Stream to the east <br /> of the site. <br /> • See Figure 2 of Technical Memorandum "Addendum to the Critical Areas <br /> Reconnaissance Technical Memorandum for the Beverly Park Switching <br /> Station (Dated February 12, 2004)" prepared by Landau Associates, <br /> November 5, 2004 <br />
