FN <br /> Client Responsibilities <br /> 1. Coordinate system reviews with representatives from the WPCF, TSG and S&D. <br /> 2. Provide review comments and preferences on the alternatives. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. Conveyance options are discrete methods and construction sequence of conveying <br /> flows from specific points in the PGSF basin to the storage facility. <br /> 2. Conveyance alternatives are a combination of options to meet the objectives of <br /> conveying all flows necessary to: <br /> a) Bring the remaining CSO sites into control. <br /> b) Provide additional benefits of reducing stormwater and combined sewage discharges <br /> to near shore outfalls. <br /> c) Provide additional benefits of reducing out of basin capital improvements such as <br /> bringing SRO7 and SRO8 into compliance or reducing, eliminating or delaying the <br /> 17th Street Interceptor augmentation. <br /> 3. Preference will be made to identify primarily gravity flow options. <br /> 4. Reducing the flow rate to the conveyance system to WPCF will be a key criteria in <br /> developing alternatives. <br /> 5. The Base Conveyance System Alternative provided by the City will be one of the <br /> conveyance alternatives. <br /> 6. Class 5 Capital Cost Opinions for conceptual alternatives are used for early planning <br /> purposes and will have a range of accuracy based upon AACE International <br /> Recommended Practice No. 18R-97, Class 5, 0- to 2- percent project definition, +100% <br /> to -50% Range of Accuracy. <br /> Deliverables <br /> 1. Meeting summary of high level options review including GIS based mapping illustrating <br /> the location of conveyance options (PDF format). <br /> 2. Meeting summary of alternative review workshop including alternatives matrix (PDF <br /> format). The matrix shall include a summary of modeling scenarios to be performed. <br /> 3. GIS based figures illustrating the Conveyance alternatives (PDF format). <br /> 4. Class 5 OPCC of the alternatives (PDF format). <br /> 5. Summarized modeling results to support each alternative and demonstrate ability of the <br /> alternative to satisfy(or not satisfy) goals. <br /> Subtask 303 - Conveyance System Alternative Selection <br /> Consultant Services <br /> 1.
