FYR <br /> Task 500 — Cost Estimation <br /> Task Objective <br /> Develop an OPCC estimates for selected alternative projects. <br /> Consultant Services <br /> 1. Prepare and provide AACE opinions of probable construction costs for the facility or <br /> conveyance alternatives in previous tasks. <br /> 2. Provide Basis of Estimate TMs for the PGSF and another one for the conveyance <br /> system improvements. <br /> 3. Conduct two (2) workshops/meetings for development of the estimating approach and <br /> review. <br /> Client Responsibilities <br /> 1. Provide historical "soft" cost information. <br /> 2. Provide review comments for cost estimates. <br /> 3. Participate in workshop/meetings. <br /> Assumptions <br /> 1. The OPCCs will generally provide the range of accuracy defined in AACE International <br /> Recommended Practice No. 17R-97, <br /> a) Class 4—Study/Feasibility Estimate,+50%to -30% Range of Accuracy. <br /> b) Class 5—Conceptual Screening Estimate,+100%to -50% Range of Accuracy. <br /> 2. Cost estimates for the Port Gardner facility will be prepared using standard CSI Master <br /> Format Div. 50 format. <br /> 3. Costs estimates for conveyance system improvements will be in unit prices that could <br /> adapt to unit price contracts in Washington State Department of Transportation <br /> (WSDOT) format. <br /> 4. A maximum of two (2) workshops/meetings will be held for the estimating approach and <br /> review. Duration of the meetings is four(4) hours each. Up to three (3) staff will attend <br /> each meeting. <br /> Deliverables <br /> 1. Workshop/meeting agenda and minutes. <br /> 2.
