Subtask 8.5 includes the advancement of the structural designs for the slab at Lift Station #1, <br /> which will support the City's Job Order Contract (JOC) project that will perform a condition <br /> inspection of the forcemain pipe. <br /> Task 8 is for the design work and Task 9 is for construction support. Details of the subtasks <br /> within Tasks 8 and 9 are provided below. <br /> This is a phased project. The initial scope and fee were for Phase 1 (Amendment 1). (As <br /> mentioned above, select designs were advanced using remaining available budget in the <br /> contract to help meet the City's upcoming construction schedule.) Phase 2 (Amendment 2) is <br /> for the completion of design and bidding services as well as services during construction, as <br /> summarized within the scopes of work for each subtask below. <br /> The City project team will direct and work with Jacobs throughout the project to provide <br /> information, guidance, and conduct the decision-making processes. The City's Project Manager <br /> will lead the City's team and manage the Jacobs contract. <br /> Anticipated Schedule <br /> Work on Amendment 2 activities is anticipated to begin in March 2020. Jacobs anticipates a <br /> Notice to Proceed (NTP) of March 16, 2020. The duration of Amendment 2 (Phase 2) tasks is <br /> estimated as follows: <br /> • Approximately 2 months for Task 8 activities (from March— mid May) <br /> • Approximately 5 months for Task 9 activities (from June through September) <br /> This anticipated schedule is dependent on the date of NTP. <br /> The City is operating under a time-critical schedule for the design and construction of the <br /> activities outlined in Subtask 8.2 (SEI to SRI Intertie Final Design), Subtask 8.3 (SR08 Pipeline— <br /> New Manhole Structure—Final Design) and Subtask 8.4 (SR08 Leaking Hatch — Final Design).
