• It is assumed that the project site is entirely on property owned by the City of Everett. No <br /> property boundary surveying is included as part of this work. <br /> • It is assumed that no new geotechnical information is needed. No geotechnical <br /> investigations are included as part of this work. <br /> • Table 3 lists the plans that will be submitted within Task 8. <br /> • The specifications will follow WSDOT format. The City will provide their general special <br /> provisions. Jacobs will supplement any other special provisions required for the project. <br /> • Plans and specifications will be suitable for bidding and construction. <br /> • The City will conduct their review of all deliverables described herein within one week, and <br /> provide one consolidated set of review comments to Jacobs. <br /> • Jacobs will provide responses to City review comments in memo format. <br /> • Per Subtasks 8.2, 8.3 and 8.4, the Engineers opinion of construction costs assumes a Class I <br /> AACE standard cost estimate based on WSDOT Standard Item bid tabs. Jacobs will prepare <br /> bidding schedule with bid items and associated quantities for unit price items. It is <br /> anticipated that most of the work elements would be lump-sum basis. Note that only one <br /> Cost Estimate will be developed for this SOW, and will include the estimated costs <br /> developed within Subtasks 8.2, 8.3, and 8.4. The Draft cost estimate will be submitted along <br /> with the Draft 100% bid set documents. <br /> • Refer to Table 2 for Jacobs schedule on a subtask level. <br /> • The City will administer the bidding and award process. <br /> Subtask 8.1 Amendment 2 Project Management (Design & <br /> Construction Services) <br /> The Jacobs project manager shall manage the Jacobs project team, subtask leads, overall <br /> execution of the project, and accurate accounting of the project budget throughout the design <br /> of Subtask 8 tasks and construction services, per Task 9. Jacobs shall work with the Jacobs <br /> project accountant to prepare and submit invoices on a monthly basis along with a monthly <br /> project status memo addressing and describing work covered by the invoice. Any significant <br /> project budget or accounting issues shall be addressed in the monthly status memo for City's <br /> review and consideration. Jacobs shall prepare internal, standard, required work-execution, <br /> quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC), health and safety, and budget control work <br /> products necessary to effectively execute the work. <br /> The scope and budget for this subtask includes time for Jacobs project manager to meet bi- <br /> weekly by phone with City project manager. These meetings are in addition to other meetings <br /> identified in other subtasks for this project. No formal documentation of the contents and <br /> results of these meetings shall be prepared. <br /> This task assumes 7 months for project management services during the design and <br /> construction phases. <br /> Specific project management activities include: <br /> Page 4 <br />
