City of Everett 00 7300 - 4 <br /> 2020 Biosolids Removal UT3705-11 <br /> Ordinance No. 1556-89 states that all residential zoned land fall within Noise <br /> Control District No. 1. 1 <br /> B. Residential properties lie within close proximity to the Project site, and noise <br /> generated at the WPCF impacted residential zoned properties in the past. <br /> Therefore, it should be noted that under the City's Noise Ordinance, construction <br /> related noise is limited to the following hours: <br /> 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekdays <br /> 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekends and state recognized holidays <br /> C. No noise variance will be issued to operate outside of these hours. Contractor , <br /> shall ensure all Project activities occur during the above hours. <br /> D. Be aware that all construction sites will be monitored and violators are subject to <br /> fines. <br /> E. Construction contractors are responsible for notifying subcontractors of the City's <br /> noise regulations. <br /> F. All requests for working hours other than those stated above shall be made , <br /> exclusively through the City's Representative. <br /> 1.8 CITY OCCUPATION AND OPERATION <br /> A. The City intends to operate all treatment lagoons/ponds during the project. <br /> Contractor is expected to coordinate with City to avoid disruption to ongoing <br /> wastewater treatment processes. <br /> B. Contractor will be responsible for locking the gated entrances to the biosolids pad <br /> and aeration cells outside of working hours. City will not accept liability for <br /> damages, vandalism, theft, or other loss due to failure of Contractor to maintain ' <br /> site security. <br /> C. The Contractor shall coordinate with City in scheduling operations to minimize <br /> conflict with concurrent construction projects, plant operations and maintenance <br /> activities. <br /> I <br /> 1.9 DEWATERING CHEMICALS AND EQUIPMENT <br /> A. Net weight of dewatering agents to be used for this project shall be submitted to ' <br /> the City's Project Manager upon delivery to the work site. Costs for dewatering <br /> agents shall be incidental to the unit cost per Dry Ton of biosolids treated. ' <br /> 1 <br /> 00 7300 - 4 SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br />
