City of Everett 01 1100 - 2 I <br /> 2020 Biosolids Removal UT3705-11 I <br /> B. Base Bid includes the following items: <br /> 1. Site mobilization and demobilization. I <br /> 2. Making temporary connections to utilities. <br /> 3. Dredging and dewatering up to 2,000 dry tons of biosolids. <br /> 4. Managing dewatered biosolids on site. I <br /> 5. Loading, weighing, and transporting dewatered biosolids to the designated <br /> area on City's Biosolids Pad. <br /> 6. Site cleanup and restoration. i <br /> C. Work under the Contract shall also include: <br /> 1. Sampling in a representative manner, storing samples according to I <br /> sampling protocols, and submitting samples for analysis as required by <br /> Owner. <br /> 1.3 <br /> ADDITIONS TO, OR DEDUCTIONS FROM, THE CONTRACT <br /> A. The authorization of all Additions to, or Deductions from, labor and materials, as I <br /> called for in the Contract, shall be given only upon the Owner's printed change <br /> order form bearing the signatures of the Owner, the Contractor, and the I <br /> Architect/Engineer. <br /> 1.4 CHANGES IN THE WORK I <br /> A. Change orders will be calculated based on the provisions in Section 00 7200. <br /> 1.5 WORK BY OTHERS <br /> A. The Contractor is required to coordinate all their activities with the City's Project I <br /> Manager, or his/her designee. The City may have other construction projects in <br /> progress at the WPCF during the duration of this project and it is the Contractor's I <br /> responsibility to assure that adequate notice is given to the City's Project <br /> Manager regarding equipment or materials that may need to be relocated in order <br /> to perform the work. I <br /> B. The successful bidder of the contract for land application of the solids may be <br /> onsite removing solids prior to the completion of the removal contract. The I <br /> Contractor will need to coordinate his/her operations to work in conjunction with <br /> this operation. <br /> I <br /> 1.6 WORK BY THE OWNER <br /> A. The Owner shall have the right to access the site 24/7 and execute work not I <br /> included in this Contract and concurrent with the contract period.
