Sheet A-2 <br /> includes a multi-purpose room that exceeds 750 SF and 49 occupants based on a 15 SF/occupant <br /> factor per IBC Table 10004.1.2. The spaced shall be classified as an Assembly Group A-3 per IBC <br /> Section 303.4. The building occupancy shall be revised to A-3 unless the multi-purpose room is <br /> separated from the remainder of the building per IBC Section 508.4. <br /> The multi-purpose room has been redesigned and no longer exceed 750 square feet,therefore <br /> the building will remain Group B,see Sheet A-2 <br /> 4. The Ground Floor toilet room on Sheet A-2 opens directly into the kitchenette area. Toilet rooms <br /> shall not open directly into areas used for food preparation areas for the public. The plan should <br /> be revised do separate the toilet room and the kitchenette. See IBC Section 2902.3.6. <br /> The kitchen has been removed and relocated so it is not next to the bathroom area.See Sheet A- <br /> 2 <br /> 5. The Ground Floor multi-user Room on Sheet A-2 has an estimated occupant load exceeding 30 <br /> people. The area shall be provided with separate male and female toilet rooms. See IBC Section <br /> 2902.2 and Table 2902.1. <br /> The occupant load for the multi-use room is now at a B Occupancy so the load factor is 100 and <br /> the occupant load will be less than 30. 2 toilet rooms have been added-see Sheet A-2. <br /> 6. The Ground Floor Plan on Sheet A-2 shall require safety glazing for the doors in the east exterior <br /> wall. See IBC Sections 2902.3.3. <br /> Doors are now called out with safety glazing. <br /> 7. The multi-user room at the Ground Floor on Sheet A-2 has a common wall with a smaller room at <br /> its southwest corner. The common wall includes a doorway and window that are space less than <br /> 24 inched apart. The window shall be safety glazing. See IBC Section 2406.4.2. <br /> The area has been redesigned and the condition no longer exists. <br /> Fire Protection: <br /> 8. The building area with the addition exceeds 3,000 SF and shall be provided with a fire alarm system <br /> per Everett Municipal Code Section 16.76.035 Item B. Note that the building does not meet the <br /> exception of Section 16.76.030 because the additional area exceeds 600 SF and is not separated by <br /> a fire barrier. The requirement for the fire alarm shall be stated in the General Notes on Sheet A-0. <br /> The notes shall require a design to be submitted to the City of Everett for review. See Sections <br /> 107.2.1,907.1.1,and 9071.2. <br /> The requirement has been added to the general notes on Sheet A-0 <br />
