Plan Che #B1807-032 <br /> iiiip <br /> Egress: <br /> 9. The multi-use room on Sheet A-2 has an A-2 occupancy exceeding 49 people. The room shall be <br /> provided with a minimum of two exits per IBC Table 1006.2.1. The space shall be provided with a <br /> minimum of two accessible means of egress per IBC Section 1009.1. The room shall be provided <br /> with a second door leading to the exterior walkway. The doors shall be separated by a distance of <br /> at least one-half the maximum diagonal dimension of the space,or approximately 25 feet, per IBC <br /> Section 1007.1.1. Alternatively,the existing interior stairway may be used as the second means of <br /> egress if shown to meet the provisions of IBC Section 1009.3. For this alternative,the means of <br /> egress must be provided with exit signs per IBC Sections 1013.1 and 1013.4, and the emergency <br /> illumination per IBC Section 1008.3.1 Item 1, 1008.3.2 Item 1, 1008.3.2 Item 5, 1008.3.4, and <br /> 1010.1.6. <br /> The multi-purpose room no longer has an occupancy of 49. 2 means of egress are not required. <br /> 10. The multi-use room on Sheet A-2 has an occupancy exceeding 49 people. The following comments <br /> shall be addressed <br /> a. The exit doors at the east exterior wall shall swing outward in the direct of egress travel. See <br /> IBC Section 1010.1.2.1. <br /> b. The doors shall be provided with panic hardware. See IBC Section 1010.1.10. <br /> The room no longer has an occupant load in excess of 49,therefore we will have the door swing <br /> out, but panic hardware is not required. <br /> 11. The Ground Floor on Sheet A-2 includes an A-3 occupancy. The occupancy load shall be posted on <br /> a sign near the main exit for the space. See IBC Section 1004.3 <br /> The A-3 Occupancy has been removed,the signage is not required. <br /> • <br /> 12. The building shall be provided with exit signs per IBC Section 1013.1. Signs shall be provided at all <br /> exterior exists. The required locations of the signs shall be shown on the construction drawings. <br /> See IBC Section 107.2.1. <br /> Exit signs are now called out. <br /> 13. The building shall be provided with exit signs per IBC Section 1013.1. In addition to standard exit <br /> signs, all accessible exit signs shall be provided per Section 1013.4. Signs shall be provided at all <br /> exterior exits.
