The"Lumber"section of the Structural <br /> Notes on Sheet S1.1 requires all wood exposed to weather to be preservative-treated. The <br /> note shall also require the cut ends of preservative-treated wood to be coated with a <br /> preservative treatment complying with AWPA U1. Work not being performed by approved fabricators should be added to the list of <br /> special inspections. The condition is not consistent with <br /> the details on Sheet S3.1, nor has a"similar"reference been provided on the foundation plan <br /> on Sheet A-3. The walls shall be provided with sill plate anchorage, similar to the exterior <br /> walls, to the grade beam shown in the foundation plan on Sheet A-3. Other non-load bearing <br /> walls shall be provided with connections to the slab-on-grade.
