Plan Check#B1807-032 <br /> 'age 3/ , <br /> 22. The South Elevation on Sheet A-5 appears to provide a stepped entrance. The addition space on <br /> the main floor must be accessible. The entrance shall be modified to provide an accessible <br /> entrance. See Section 1105.1 and IBC Sections 1104.1 and 1105.1 <br /> The existing ramps at exterior doors were never built as shown on the existing plans. They were <br /> built to meet the code as called for in IBC Section 1012. <br /> 23. The South Elevation on Sheet A-5 appears to provide a stepped entrance for the west entrance to <br /> the main floor. The additional space on the main floor must be accessible. The entrance shall be <br /> modified to provide an accessible entrance. Ramps shall comply with IBC Section 1012. See IEBC <br /> Section 1105.1 and IBC Sections 1104.1 and 1105.1 <br /> The building was never built as original plans showed. They did away with the step and it is and <br /> will be as now shown on the plans. <br /> 24. The East Elevation on Sheet A-5 appears to provide a stepped entrance for the west entrance to <br /> the main floor. The addition space on the main floor must be accessible. The entrance shall be <br /> modified to provide an accessible entrance. Ramps shall comply with IBC Section 1012. See IEBC <br /> Section 1105.1 and IBC Sections 1104.1 and 1105.1 <br /> The new drawing now shows an accessible landing as required by Section 1105.1 <br /> 25. Sheet A-2 shows a partial elevation for the ground floor bathroom. The height of the toilet shall <br /> be specified as a minimum or 17 inches and a maximum of 19 inches. See IBC Section 1101.2 and <br /> ICC A117.1.-09 Section 604 <br /> A section cut has now been on Sheet A-2 added that shows the required height of the toilet. <br /> Energy: <br /> 26. Section B-B/A-6 shows a section through the addition exterior wall foundation that appears to <br /> show rigid insulation between the foundation and slab-on-grade. The drawings shall require the <br /> foundation insulation to be a minimum R-10. The insulation shall extend for a depth of 24 inches <br /> below the top of the slab. See WSEC-15 Table C402.1.3. <br /> See note added to Section Cuts on Sheet A-6 <br /> Miscellaneous: <br /> 27. Both floors of the building appear to have occupancy loads exceeding 30 people. Each floor shall <br /> be provided with at least one drinking fountain per IBC Section 2902.5.1. Each fountain shall be <br /> accessible per Section 1109.5. <br /> We now show an ADA drinking fountain on the plans on Sheets A-1 and A-2. We also show <br /> elevations giving the required clearances on Sheet A-8. <br />
