Written releases <br /> 5 must be filed with the Engineer before the Completion Date will be established. 1 <br /> 6 <br /> 7 1-08.0.RTF <br /> 8 1-08 PROSECUTION AND PROGRESS <br /> 9 <br /> 10 Add the following new section: I <br /> 11 <br /> 12 1-08.0 Preliminary Matters <br /> 13 (May 25, 2006 APWA GSP) <br /> 14 <br /> 15 GLF 1-08.0(1).DOCX <br /> 16 Add the following new section: <br /> 17 <br /> 18 1-08.0(1) Preconstruction Conference <br /> 19 (COE based on October 10, 2008 APWA GSP) <br /> 20 <br /> 21 Prior to the Contractor beginning the work, a preconstruction conference will be held <br /> 22 between the Contractor, the Engineer and such other interested parties as may be invited. <br /> 23 The purpose of the preconstruction conference will be: <br /> 24 1. To review the initial progress schedule; <br /> 25 2. To establish a working understanding among the various parties associated or affected <br /> 26 by the work; <br /> 27 3. To establish and review procedures for progress payment, notifications, approvals, <br /> 28 submittals, etc.; <br /> 29 4. To review safety standards and traffic control; and <br /> 30 5. To discuss such other related items as may be pertinent to the work. <br /> 31 <br /> 32 The Contractor shall prepare and submit at the preconstruction conference the following: <br /> 33 1. A breakdown of all lump sum items; <br /> 34 2. A preliminary schedule of working drawing submittals; and <br /> 35 3. A list of material sources for approval if applicable. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 <br /> 38 F1-08.0(2).DOCX <br /> 39 Add the following new section: <br /> 40 <br /> 41 1-08.0(2) Hours of Work <br /> 42 (December 8, 2014 APWA GSP) <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Except in the case of emergency or unless otherwise approved by the Engineer, the <br /> 45 normal working hours for the Contract shall be any consecutive 8-hour period between <br /> 46 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, exclusive of a lunch break. If the <br /> 47 Contractor desires different than the normal working hours stated above, the request <br /> 48 must be submitted in writing prior to the preconstruction conference, subject to the <br /> 49 provisions below.
