I <br /> 2 All working hours and days are also subject to local permit and ordinance conditions <br /> 3 (such as noise ordinances). <br /> 4 <br /> I <br /> 5 If the Contractor wishes to deviate from the established working hours, the Contractor <br /> 6 shall submit a written request to the Engineer for consideration. This request shall state <br /> 7 what hours are being requested, and why. Requests shall be submitted for review no <br /> I 8 later than ***72 hours for day work and 30 days for night work*** prior to the day(s) the <br /> 9 Contractor is requesting to change the hours. <br /> 10 <br /> Ii 12 If the Contracting Agency approves such a deviation, such approval may be subject to <br /> certain other conditions, which will be detailed in writing. For example: <br /> 13 <br /> I <br /> 14 15 1. On non-Federal aid projects, requiring the Contractor to reimburse the <br /> Contracting Agency for the costs in excess of straight-time costs for Contracting <br /> 16 Agency representatives who worked during such times. (The Engineer may <br /> 17 require designated representatives to be present during the work. <br /> I 18 Representatives who may be deemed necessary by the Engineer include but are <br /> 19 not limited to: survey crews; personnel from the Contracting Agency's material <br /> 20 testing lab; inspectors; and other Contracting Agency employees or third party <br /> I 21 consultants when, in the opinion of the Engineer, such work necessitates their <br /> 22 presence.) <br /> 23 2. Considering the work performed on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays as <br /> I 24 working days with regard to the contract time. <br /> 25 3. Considering multiple work shifts as multiple working days with respect to contract <br /> 26 time even though the multiple shifts occur in a single 24-hour period. <br /> I <br /> 27 28 4. If a 4-10 work schedule is requested and approved the non-working day for the <br /> week will be charged as a working day. <br /> 29 5. If Davis Bacon wage rates apply to this Contract, all requirements must be met <br /> I <br /> 30 and recorded properly on certified payroll <br /> 31 <br /> 32 1-08.1.GR1 <br /> I 33 Subcontracting <br /> 34 <br /> 35 1-08.1.INST1.GR1 <br /> 36 Section 1-08.1 is supplemented with the following: <br /> I 37 <br /> 38 1-08.1.OPT1.GR1 <br /> 39 (June 3, 2019) <br /> I 40 Prior to any subcontractor or lower tier subcontractor beginning work, the Contractor shall <br /> 41 submit to the Engineer a certification (WSDOT Form 420-004) that a written agreement <br /> 42 between the Contractor and the subcontractor or between the subcontractor and any lower <br /> I 43 tier subcontractor has been executed. This certification shall also guarantee that these <br /> 44 subcontract agreements include all the documents required by the Special Provision Federal <br /> 45 Agency Inspection. <br /> I 46 <br /> 47 A Subcontractor or lower tier Subcontractor will not be permitted to perform any work under <br /> 48 the contract until the following documents have been completed and submitted to the <br /> I <br /> 49 50 Engineer: <br /> 51 1. Request to Sublet Work (WSDOT Form 421-012), and <br /> 52 2.
