Surinder Sidhu May 4, 2017
Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan Narrative
A Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) has been prepared as part of the
construction stormwater permit requirements. The site is 0.15 acres in size and is located at
3621 Hoyte Ave, Everett, WA 98201-4719 with tax parcel number 00451401101100. A new
triplex, new walkway, and replaced parking area are proposed to be built on site. The limits of
disturbance will be 4,060 sf+/-.There will be limited cut and fill on the sight and will not
require the removal of ground materials from the property.
The purpose of the SWPPP is to describe all temporary and permanent erosion and
sediment control (TESC) measures, pollution prevention measures, inspection/monitoring
activities, and recordkeeping that will be implemented during the proposed project. This
narrative is to be considered a "living document."This project's Certified Erosion and Sediment
Control Specialist is to amend this document as needed during construction. Applications of
these elements are shown on the TESC Plan Sheet. The specific elements included in the SWPPP
are:
Element#1: Mark Clearing Limits
Prior to the beginning of land disturbing activities, the clearing limits are defined on the
east property boundary, and areas surrounding the proposed walkway and residence. Orange
construction fence will be used to define areas of construction activity.
Applicable BMP's for this project are:
• BMP C101- Preserving Natural Vegetation, (includes preserving mature
trees and their understory outside of the clearing limits).
Element#2—Establish Construction Access
The existing concrete parking area, adjacent to the alley, along the east property
boundary will be used for construction access.
Element#3—Control Flow Rates
Applicable BMP's are shown on the TESC Plan and include:
• BMP C120-Temporary or Permanent Seeding
Element#4—Install Sediment Controls
Specific controls include:
• Temporary or Permanent Seeding(BMP C120),
Controls are to be installed prior to clearing and grubbing activities.
