.10 EXHIBIT A Prior to each workshop,AECOM will prepare and distribute an agenda. If there is available time after the workshops, additional site visits will be conducted, as needed. After each workshop,AECOM will document decisions made during the workshop in workshop minutes and distribute to the City for review and concurrence. It is assumed that three representatives from AECOM will attend each workshop. Subtask 2.4—Pre-design Development and Planning-level Construction Cost Estimates AECOM will leverage information gathered and decisions made during the documents review, tabletop study, kick-off meeting, workshop(s), and site visit to develop 15% design drawings for the selected upgrade alternatives. The 15% design drawings will include building plans with seismic mitigation keynotes, mitigation alternates for each identified deficiencies, mitigation standard details, as well as proposed construction materials. Where appropriate, up to two (2)mitigation alternates will be developed for each identified major structural deficiencies,as needed. AECOM will prepare planning-level construction cost estimates for selected upgrade alternatives that will be submitted with the 15% design drawings. Cost estimates will be based on previous AECOM project bids with similar work elements, previous City project costs with similar work elements, cost quotes provided by contractors upon request from AECOM, and unit costs from cost guide books (RS Means). Subtask 2.5—Pre-design Memorandum AECOM will prepare a technical memorandum entitled "Pre-Design Evaluation for Water Filter Plant Operations Building: Structural and Nonstructural Seismic Retrofit." The memorandum will consist of the following primary elements: • Introduction • Project Description • Level of Structural Investigation • Documentation reviewed • Structural Retrofit Recommendations o Design criteria o ASCE 41-13 Tier-1 Structural and nonstructural checklist o Recommended mitigation alternates and associated mitigation costs • Prioritize mitigation recommendations based on City's project objectives • Conclusions The memorandum will be submitted to the City for review. The memorandum will be finalized, after City comments are received by AECOM.
