10
EXHIBIT A
Subtask 3.5—Construction Documents Development
AECOM will develop construction documents for the seismic retrofit construction.
Construction documents will include the issued for construction (IFC) drawing set and
IFC technical specifications.
Task 3 Deliverables:
• 50% Design: Design Drawings, Technical Specifications Outline, and
Construction Cost Estimates
• Design Review Meetings Agenda/Minutes
• Permit Package: Structural Analyses Calculations Package, Design Drawings,
Technical Specifications,Construction Cost Estimates
• Construction Documents: IFC Drawings and IFC Technical Specifications
Task 4— Bid Period Services
AECOM's involvement during the bid period is assumed to be minimal. AECOM's bid
period services are anticipated to include:
• Responding to potential bidder questions.
• Attending one pre-bid meeting and site walk that will be hosted by the City.
• Prepare up to two addenda to the bid documents, as needed.
Preparation of conformed construction package to reflect addenda issued during
the bid process.
Task 4 Deliverables:
• Written responses to potential bidder questions.
• Up to two addenda to the bid documents, as needed.
• Conformed construction package.
Task 5—Construction Period Services
AECOM's construction period services are anticipated to include:
• Review of structural submittals;
• Respond to up to fifteen contractor requests for information (RFIs);
• Perform up to four construction period site observations;
• Attend up to ten construction meetings via teleconference; and
• Prepare Record Drawings based on contractor-supplied as-built redlines of IFC
drawings.
At this time, the LOE required for reviewing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP)
and architectural submittals and for responding to MEP-and architectural-related RFIs is
unknown. The LOE can be better defined after completion of Task 3 and, if required,
AECOM can prepare and submit a subsequent scope of work and fee proposal for
additional LOE.
Site observation visits will be performed by qualified senior professional(s)during crucial
work activities. A construction observation report will be prepared and submitted to the
City to document observations and conversations following each site observation visit.
AECOM will not perform special inspections (i.e., reinforcing bar inspection, concrete
testing, etc.)that may be required by project permits. It is assumed that the City is
responsible for procuring and managing special inspections.
J:\Projects\E\Everett,City of\Operations Building Seismic Upgrade\Project Management\Scoping\revised 03-18-
1512_Draft Scope of Work_Operations Bld Seismic Upgrade 04-14-15.docx
Page 6 of 8
85
