1. <br /> EXHIBIT A <br /> Task 5 Deliverables: <br /> • Structural Submittal Review Responses <br /> • Responses to (up to fifteen) RFIs <br /> • Construction Observation Reports <br /> • Record Drawings(AutoCAD format) <br /> Task 6—Undefined Services <br /> This task is included to appropriate funds for potential additional work tasks not defined <br /> by this scope of work. The task is intended to cover the design of architectural, <br /> mechanical, electrical and plumbing related design work that will be clearly defined at <br /> end of Task 2. Funding associated with this task will only be used with written <br /> permission and approval by the City of the scope of work and fee proposal to be <br /> prepared by AECOM. <br /> Assumptions and Exclusions <br /> The following assumptions and exclusions were made in the development of this scope <br /> of work and fee proposal: <br /> • Seismic rehabilitation for structural components of the existing WFP Operations <br /> • - Building <br /> • The City will provide or has provided the following documents to AECOM: <br /> o Available as-built information (plans and technical specifications) (prior to <br /> the kick-off meeting); <br /> o WFP Operations Building structural calculations; <br /> o Geotechnical report(s); <br /> o City of Everett, Water Filter Plant Operations Building, Building <br /> Assessment and Upgrade (G&E Engineering Systems, Inc., September <br /> 28, 2012); <br /> o Overall WFP Study; <br /> o HMGP, January 2012 Severe Winter Storm Flooding, Mudslides, and <br /> Landslides (City of Everett, 2012); and <br /> o Cost data from recent City projects that have relevant cost elements. <br /> • Development of a recommended shoring procedure is included in the scope of <br /> work; however, shoring design is not included in the scope of work and fee <br /> proposal. <br /> • Environmental engineering services are not included in the scope of work and <br /> fee proposal. <br /> • The LOE required for MEP engineering and architectural services cannot be <br /> clearly defined until mitigation alternates have been developed and selected. <br /> Therefore, these services are not included in the scope of work and fee proposal. <br /> • Material testing is not included in the scope of work and fee proposal. <br /> • Special inspection is not included in the scope of work and fee proposal. <br /> • The City is responsible for permit application and associated fees. <br /> • Permit assistance is not included and could be addressed through Task 6— <br /> Undefined Services. <br /> J:\Projects\E\Everett,City of\Operations Building Seismic Upgrade\Project Management\Scoping\revised 03-18- <br /> 15\2_Draft Scope of Work Operations Bld Seismic Upgrade 04-14-15.docx <br /> Page 7 of 8 <br /> 86 <br />
