3. A Public Works Permit is required for this project.Public Works Department approval is required <br /> prior to any permits being issued. <br /> 4. All exterior lighting,including lighting of signs,shall be directed downward onto the site and <br /> away from other shoreline properties or nearby neighborhoods. <br /> 5. If anything of possible archaeological interest is uncovered during excavations,the applicant must <br /> immediately stop work and notify the city,and the Tulalip Tribes,and consult with a professional <br /> archaeologist who must inspect and evaluate the site. In the event that ground disturbing or other <br /> constructing activities result in the inadvertent discovery of the archaeological resources,work shall <br /> be halted in the immediate area,and contact made with the City of Everett,the office of the State <br /> Archaeologist(OAHP),and cultural resources office of the affected Tribes. Work must be halted <br /> until such time as further investigation and appropriate consultation is concluded. In the unlikely <br /> event of the inadvertent discovery of human remains,work shall be immediately halted in the • <br /> discovery area,the remains covered and secured against further disturbance,and communication <br /> established with project administrative personnel,local law enforcement,OAHP,and authorized <br /> Tribal representatives. <br /> 6. A Declaration of Critical Area Protective Covenant and Critical Area Site Plan Map(CASP)will <br /> be required to be recorded with Snohomish County Auditor's Office prior to permit issuance. <br /> 7. A split-rail fence,or an alternative approved by the planning director,shall be constructed at the <br /> edge of the wetland buffer area.Signage stating the area is a protected Critical Area shall be provided <br /> on the fence(EMC 19.37.110.E.) <br /> 8. A final review and approval of the building design is required by the Planning Department prior to <br /> issuance of a building permit. The purpose of the final review is to ensure the final design is <br /> consistent with the present approval,and meets all other multi-family design guidelines and critical <br /> area requirements. <br /> 9. No buildings or additions may be placed within the 10-foot setback area between the proposed <br /> dwelling unit and the wetland buffer. <br /> 10.To the extent practicable,construction staging areas shall be located outside of environmentally <br /> sensitive areas and buffers. <br /> 11.Monitoring and maintenance of the enhanced wetland and wetland buffer shall be conducted as <br /> outlined in the Critical Areas report. <br /> 12.Surface Stormwater Detention Ponds shall not be located within required setback areas. <br /> 13.Heat pumps and other air conditioning equipment shall not be permitted within a required front or <br /> side setback area. <br /> 14, A Landscape Plan is required to be submitted with construction permits.Landscape Plans shall <br /> meet the planting and screening requirements found in EMC 19.35.050 and EMC 19.35.055. <br /> , MA16-008 <br /> Page$of 1,3� <br />
