9 t F `' Q yyy` E 1 <br /> INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR TASK FORCE SERVICE <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, entered into by and between Snohomish County, a <br /> political sub-division of the State of Washington, acting on behalf of Snohomish County and the <br /> following cities, agencies, tribes, and district: <br /> City of Arlington City of Mill Creek <br /> City of Bothell City of Monroe <br /> City of Brier City of Mountlake Terrace <br /> City of Darrington City of Mukilteo <br /> City of Edmonds City of Snohomish <br /> City of Everett City of Stanwood <br /> City of Gold Bar City of Sultan <br /> City of Granite Falls DSHS, Child Protective Services <br /> City of Index Sauk Suiattle Tribe <br /> City of Lake Stevens Snohomish Health District <br /> City of Lake Forest Park Stillaguamish Tribe <br /> City of Lynnwood Tulalip Tribes <br /> City of Marysville Washington State Patrol <br /> pursuant to the authority granted by that certain interlocal agreement effective July 1, 2007, <br /> recorded at Snohomish County Auditor No. 200606081057 (hereinafter collectively referred to <br /> as "Participating Jurisdictions"), and the City of Everett. <br /> WHEREAS the Participating Jurisdictions have by interlocal agreement established the <br /> Snohomish Regional Drug Task Force (hereinafter referred to as "Task Force") for the purpose <br /> of reducing drug availability and trafficking in our communities; and <br /> WHEREAS interlocal agreements governing the Task Force have been in effect <br /> continuously since 1988 with the most recent interlocal agreement having taken effect on July 1, <br /> 2007; and <br /> WHEREAS the City of Everett has participated in the Task Force since its inception, that <br /> the entire narcotics unit has been assigned to the Task Force since January 1, 2000, that a <br /> lieutenant and sergeant employed by the Everett Police Department are currently assigned to the <br /> Task Force, and that the Everett Police Chief is a member of the Task Force Executive Board; <br /> and <br /> 5 5 <br /> WHEREAS the Everett Police Department had assigned its entire narcotics unit to the <br /> S:\Administrative Services\Contracts\SRDTF Everett Interlocal <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
