I CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS Measurement for controlled density fill will be measured by the cubic yard for the quantity of I material placed per the producer's invoice within limits of dimensions defined in the Work, descriptions of other bid items, shown on the Plans, details or COE Standard Drawings or as otherwise approved by the Engineer. I Bid Item 17 & 77: Temporary Roadway Patch Measurement and Payment: Lump Sum (LS) No measurement will be made for the lump sum item Temporary Roadway Patch. Payment for the lump sum item Temporary Roadway Patch shall be a one-time lump sum regardless of how many times Temporary Roadway Patch is placed, removed, replaced, or I relocated. The lump sum price shall be full compensation for all labor, material, tools and equipment necessary to satisfactorily complete the Work as defined in the Standard Specifications, 5-06.3(6) of these Special Provisions and as shown on the Plans. Bid Item 18: Combined Sewer Pipe, 8-inch I Bid Item 19: Combined Sewer Pipe, 10-inch Bid Item 20: Combined Sewer Pipe, 12-inch I Bid Item 21: Combined Sewer Pipe, 18-inch Bid Item 22: Combined Sewer Pipe, 24-inch Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot (LF) The unit price per linear foot bid for the type and size of combined sewer pipe shall be full compensation for all labor, material, incidentals, tools and equipment necessary to I satisfactorily complete the work as defined in these Contract Documents. The unit price per linear foot of combined sewer pipe shall be full compensation for furnishing, hauling, and assembling in place the completed installation, including all wyes, tees, special I fittings, joint materials and adjustment of inverts to manholes for the completion of the installation to the required lines and grades. The unit price of combined sewer pipe shall also include, but not be limited to; all costs for III trench excavation; hauling and disposing of surplus material; dewatering; sewer flow bypassing; furnishing, stockpiling, hauling and placing and compacting suitable native backfill; cleaning and flushing pipes and existing structures;testing and inspecting pipe; pipe separation pads, connecting pipe to and rechanneling of existing structures; reconnecting existing sanitary sewer; and replacing, protecting and maintaining utilities. All costs associated with jointing dissimilar types of sewer pipe with a coupling or adapter shall be included in the unit price for this bid item. Furnishing, hauling and placing of crushed surface base course for pipe zone bedding shall be paid under"Crushed Surfacing Base Course". Furnishing, hauling and placing of import trench backfill (Gravel Borrow) shall be paid under"Gravel Borrow". The costs for potholing and excavation required to determine exact depths and locations of other utilities shall be considered as incidental to the work and these costs shall be included in the unit contract price. I Measurement will be based on actual horizontal length of the combined sewer pipe constructed and will include the length of the nearest foot, through manholes and wyes.
