I <br /> CITY OF EVERETT SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br /> Icomplete the Work in accordance with the Plans, COE Standard Drawings, and Section 7- <br /> 21 of these Special Provisions. <br /> I Bid Item 31: Storm Drain Pipe, 8-Inch DIA <br /> Bid Item 32: Storm Drain Pipe, 12-Inch DIA <br /> I Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Linear Foot (LF) <br /> The unit price per linear foot bid for the type and size of storm drain pipe shall be full <br /> compensation for all labor, material, incidentals, tools and equipment necessary to complete <br /> I the work as defined in these Contract Documents. <br /> The unit price per linear foot of storm drain pipe shall be full compensation for furnishing, <br /> hauling, and assembling in place the completed installation, including all wyes, tees, caps, <br /> I plugs, special fittings, joint materials and adjustment of inverts and connections to inlets, <br /> catch basins and manholes for the completion of the installation to the required lines and <br /> grades. <br /> I The unit price of storm drain pipe shall also include, but not be limited to; all costs for trench <br /> excavation; hauling and disposing of surplus material; dewatering; storm water flow <br /> bypassing; furnishing, stockpiling, hauling placing and compacting of suitable native backfill; <br /> I cleaning and flushing pipes and existing structures; testing and inspecting pipe; pipe <br /> separation pads; connecting pipe to existing structures; reconnecting existing storm drains; <br /> and replacing, protecting, and maintaining utilities. <br /> I All costs associated with abandoning existing storm drainage pipe as indicated on the plans <br /> including plugging and/or removal and disposal shall be included in the unit price for this bid <br /> item. <br /> IBid Item 33: Inlet <br /> Bid Item 34: Catch Basin, Type 1 <br /> IBid Item 35: Catch Basin, Type 1 L <br /> Bid Item 36: Catch Basin, Type 2, 48-inch DIA <br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Each (EA) <br /> IThe unit price per each for the inlet or the type and size of catch basin shall be full <br /> compensation for all labor, material, incidentals, tools and equipment necessary to <br /> satisfactorily complete the work as defined in these Contract Documents. <br /> 1 The unit price for each inlet and catch basin shall be full compensation for furnishing, hauling, <br /> and assembling in place the completed installation including inlets, catch basins,frames and <br /> grates, adjustment sections, pipe connections, special fittings, and joint materials up to a <br /> I depth of 10-ft as measured from the flowline of the outlet pipe to the surface of the Work <br /> measured to the nearest foot. <br /> The unit price for each inlet and catch basin shall also include, but not be limited to, all costs <br /> I for excavation; hauling and disposing of surplus or unsuitable material; dewatering; storm <br /> water flow bypassing, furnishing and installing couplings; furnishing and installing steps or <br /> ladder; placing and compacting of suitable native backfill;furnishing, placing, and compacting <br /> I foundation material as required; cleaning and flushing catch basins; reconnecting existing <br /> storm drainage connections; furnishing and installing gas traps; and replacing; protecting, <br /> and maintaining utilities. <br /> I All costs associated with abandoning, and/or removing and disposing of existing catch basins <br /> and inlets, salvaging frame and grate or cover, as shown on the plans shall be included in <br /> the unit price for this bid item. <br /> I Sewer 0 Division B—BID DESCRIPTIONS April,2020 <br /> WO No.—UP3691 SP-11 <br /> I <br />
