<br /> I Unit contract price shall include all coordination efforts with the City and assistance as City
<br /> forces make the actual connection. Connection of a water service line to the watermain and
<br /> connection of new water service line to existing water service line will not be considered a
<br /> connection to the existing system.

<br /> The unit contract price for Corporation Stop w/Service Saddle, -Inch shall constitute full
<br /> compensation for all labor, materials,tools and equipment necessary for installation of a new
<br /> I corporation stop and service saddle in accordance with Parts A and B of Detail 1/WD1 of the
<br /> Plans, including yet not limited to,furnishing and installing the service saddle and corporation
<br /> stop;trench excavation and dewatering, backfill and compaction; and testing the connection.

<br /> The unit contract price for Service Saddle and Valve Assembly, 2-Inch, shall constitute full
<br /> I compensation for all labor, materials,tools, and equipment necessary for providing assembly
<br /> in accordance with Parts A, B, C and F of Detail 3/WD1 including yet not limited to,furnishing
<br /> and installing the service saddle, brass nipple, gate valve, valve box; trench excavation and
<br /> dewatering, backfill and compaction; and testing the connection.

<br /> Measurement and Payment: Unit Price per Lineal Foot (LF).

<br /> The unit contract price for Water Service -inch, shall constitute full compensation for all
<br /> labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for new service lines continuous and
<br /> unspliced from the new main to the existing meter setter or connection to existing service as
<br /> shown on the plans and in accordance with Parts C-G of detail 1/WD1, or Parts C-F of detail
<br /> I 2/WD1, or parts D-E of detail 3/WD1, including yet not limited to, connecting to service
<br /> connection saddle, furnishing, installing, and testing to curb stop, valves, fittings, and
<br /> installation of service line, and appurtenances; providing a #10 copper tracer wire for
<br /> I polyethylene pipe, compaction, connection to existing or new meter setter including fittings;
<br /> dewatering; testing; removal or abandonment of existing service connection.

<br /> The unit contract price for Connect to Water Service, -Inch, shall constitute full
<br /> compensation for all labor, materials,tools and equipment necessary to connect new -inch
<br /> I ductile iron service lines from the tee on the new main to reconnecting with the existing
<br /> service line, including yet not limited to, tee, reducers; pipe installation; restrained joint
<br /> fittings; trench excavation, backfill and compaction; clearing and grubbing; testing; lawn
<br /> I restoration including seeding or sodding; connection to existing service line including
<br /> couplings, pipes and fittings needed to connect the new pipe to existing service; dewatering;
<br /> and removal or abandonment of existing service line.
