I1 8-03.1.DOCX <br /> 2 Description <br /> I 3 <br /> 4 8-03.1.INST1.DOCX <br /> 5 Section 8-03.1 is supplemented with the following: <br /> I 6 <br /> 7 8-03.1.OPT1.DOCX <br /> 8 (******) <br /> 9 Irrigation system components and piping occurring in the existing lawn area of Harborview <br /> 10 Park to be used as a construction staging area shall be located and protected by <br /> 11 Contractor. The Engineer will coordinate with Everett parks to turn off the affected lawn <br /> 12 zones of the irrigation system prior to staging area use and to re-activate this area of the <br /> 13 irrigation system after conclusion of contractor staging activities. If irrigation system <br /> 14 components or piping are damaged during the course of construction or related contractor <br /> I15 use of the park staging area, irrigation shall be restored/repaired to pre-project conditions <br /> 16 or functional/improved conditions by contractor if the irrigation system is damaged by <br /> 17 contractor. Any new irrigation system components used for repair shall meet 8-03 <br /> 18 irrigation systems standard provisions and/or be in-kind with system components altered <br /> 19 by contractor activities. <br /> 20 <br /> I 21 8-03.3.DOCX <br /> 22 Construction Requirements <br /> 23 <br /> I 24 8-03.3.INST1.DOCX <br /> 25 Section 8-03.3 is supplemented with the following: <br /> 26 <br /> I27 8-03.3.OPTI.DOCX <br /> 28 (******) <br /> I 29 Coverage Test <br /> 30 Before the irrigation system will be accepted, the Contractor, in the presence of the <br /> 31 Engineer, shall perform a water coverage test for each zone of the system. The <br /> 32 Contractor shall be responsible to add or change the system components at discretion of <br /> I 33 the Engineer in order to obtain adequate coverage for survival of new landscape <br /> 34 plantings. The Contractor shall be required to repair, adjust, and/or replace existing <br /> 35 heads/nozzles if damaged by Contractor.
