1 Public Notification I <br /> 2 The Contractor shall furnish and install the "No Trespassing" signs shown in the <br /> 3 Plans at locations staked by the Engineer at least 72 hours prior to performing I <br /> 4 site cleanup or any potentially hazardous Work (such as clearing or operating <br /> 5 equipment). <br /> 6 <br /> 7 At the same time that "No Trespassing" signs are posted, provide written <br /> 8 notification of the following to the Engineer and to the chief law enforcement <br /> 9 officer of the local governmental entity where the Work will occur: <br /> 10 <br /> 11 1. The precise location of each area that is posted "No Trespassing"; <br /> 12 <br /> 13 2. The date and time that each site was posted "No Trespassing"; I <br /> 14 <br /> 15 3. The date, time, description and duration of the Work to be performed <br /> 16 at each site. I <br /> 17 <br /> 18 At least 72 hours prior to performing site cleanup in Work areas containing <br /> 19 encampments (such as tents, makeshift dwellings, sleeping sites, or I <br /> 20 accumulations of personal property that are not refuse), the Contractor shall post <br /> 21 a notification at each encampment area. Each notice shall: <br /> 22 I <br /> 23 1. Be weather resistant, and written in both English and Spanish. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 2. Be affixed to each dwelling or post mounted within 10-feet of each <br /> 26 encampment; <br /> 27 <br /> 28 3. State the Prime Contractor's company name as the entity that <br /> 29 performed the cleanup as required by the Washington State <br /> 30 Department of Transportation; <br /> 31 <br /> 32 4. Provide the date that the notice is posted; I <br /> 33 <br /> 34 5. Provide date(s) and time(s) that cleanup will occur; <br /> 35 <br /> 36 6. Provide the telephone number, business hours and physical address <br /> 37 of the location where stored personal property may be claimed. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 7.
