Two way shifted traffic shall be used <br /> 4 whenever possible. <br /> 5 <br /> 6 3. Fixed signs shall be installed, covered, uncovered and removed all as <br /> 7 required to provide the necessary intervals of night time and daytime <br /> 8 temporary lane closure on the bridge structure. Approved traffic control <br /> I9 10 plans are required. <br /> 11 4. The Maple Heights Bridge traffic may be shifted while maintaining two-way <br /> 12 vehicular traffic for the bridge drain work. Pedestrian and bicycle traffic shall <br /> 13 remain operational during the bridge drain work.An approved traffic control <br /> 14 plan is required. <br /> 15 <br /> I 16 5. Except as otherwise stated, at least one sidewalk shall remain open to <br /> 17 pedestrian traffic at all times, except for 5 min delays to implement staging <br /> 18 and transitions. Pedestrians must not, at any time, be diverted into a portion <br /> I 19 of a street used concurrently by moving vehicular traffic. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 6. Marked crosswalks and Everett, Community Transit and school bus stops <br /> I 22 shall remain open to pedestrians at all times. For work resulting in <br /> 23 Community Transit removing any transit facility structure including, but not <br /> 24 limited to shelters, boards/kiosks and bus stop signs, fifteen (15) Business <br /> 25 Days advance notification is required. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 7. All written communications performed by the Contractor must be submitted <br /> 28 to the Engineer in advance of the planned notification. The Contractor must <br /> I29 also include the Engineer in all written notifications in order to provide <br /> 30 confirmation that proper notifications have been made. <br /> 31 <br /> I 32 8. If traffic control is used during the night, then lighted barrels are required. <br /> 33 <br /> 34 9. The Contractor must provide advanced notification to abutting property <br /> I 35 owners and tenants of impending access restrictions. Advanced notification <br /> 36 must be at least 2 Business Days for residential property and 3 Business <br /> 37 days for commercial property. <br /> I 38 <br /> 39 10. For restriction of parking on any street within the Everett City Limits, the <br /> 40 Contractor must provide 3 Working Days advance notification to Everett <br /> 41 Public Works (at 617-394-2286) (Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM). <br /> I 42 To arrange for inspection of"No Parking" easels and other parking related <br /> 43 signs by a parking enforcement officer or commissioned uniformed police <br /> 44 officer, contact Gael Fisk, Project Manager, Phone: 425-257-8909, after <br /> 45 placing the easels and 24 hours in advance of the effective date of <br /> 46 enforcement on the easels. <br /> 47 <br /> 48 11. After receiving approval of the traffic control plan (see Section 1-10.2(5)), <br /> 49 the Contractor must provide notice to the Engineer and Everett Public <br /> 50 Works (at 617-394-2286, Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM) before the <br /> I 51 start of Work within the street Right of Way.
