City of Everett 01 1100 - 2 <br /> 2020 Trickling Filter Media Replacement UP 3742-2 <br /> 1.3 CONTRACTOR'S USE OF SITE AND PREMISES <br /> A. The Contractor shall assume full responsibility for protection and safekeeping of <br /> products under this Contract. <br /> B. The Contractor shall obtain and pay for use of any additional parking, storage or <br /> work areas needed for his/her operations. <br /> C. The Contractor shall limit the construction activities to the areas indicated on the <br /> Drawings. <br /> D. Construction Plan: Before the start of construction, provide a construction plan <br /> regarding access to Work, use of Site, proposed laydown areas and utility <br /> outages for acceptance by the City. After acceptance of the plan, construction <br /> operations shall comply with the accepted plan unless deviations are accepted <br /> by the City in writing. <br /> 1.4 WORK HOURS <br /> A. Contractor will be required to provide a project schedule that clearly defines each <br /> phase of work and the work hours associated with each phase. <br /> B. The Work site is available from 0600 -1730 during the work week (M-F) excluding <br /> City observed holidays unless otherwise approved by the City's Project Manager. <br /> Any additional or alternate work hours will require advance approval and <br /> coordination with the City's Project Manager. <br /> C. The Water Pollution Control Facility (WPCF) is operated 24/7 and access to the <br /> work area must be available to plant staff during the project. The Contractor will <br /> have access to the WPCF Trickling Filter areas to perform the Work. Contractor <br /> will not be permitted access to buildings or other treatment facilities within the <br /> WPCF boundary unless required as a part of the Work. <br /> 1.5 WORK SEQUENCE <br /> A. Work in stages in order to accommodate the City's use requirements during the <br /> construction period. Coordinate construction schedule and operations with the <br /> Owner: <br /> 1. Existing Trickling Filter and associated systems shall remain fully operational until <br /> November 1st, 2020. <br /> 2. Contractor may mobilize onto the site and begin preparational work prior to <br /> November 1st, 2020. <br /> 01 1100 - 2 SUMMARY OF WORK <br />
