(2) Determine upon what streets or portions thereof vehicles shall be angle parked and shall indicate the same by marks or signs placed in such streets or portions thereof. (3) Prohibit at certain times, or entirely, or shorten the time during which vehicles may be parked in locations where traffic tends to congest and erect appropriate signs indicating such locations and the hours during which the same shall be kept in force or deemed in use. (4+) Establish school crossings at intersections in the vicinity of schools where crossing the roadway by school children is dangerous and is hereby authorized to mark and maintain , with paint or otherwise, crosswalks at such places. (5 ) Mark lanes for traffic . (6) Mark pedestrian crosswalks at intersections , or at other points , and to use discs , standards, stanchions, buttons, signs, painted lines or other means to give notice of existence of such crosswalks . (7) Place intersection center markers, intersection entrance markers and/or turning markers within or at the entrance to intersections. (8) To determine those intersections at which drivers of vehicles shall not make a right , left , or U-turn, and shall place proper signs at such intersections. The making of such turns may be prohibited between certain hours of any day and permitted at other hours, in which event the same shall be plainly indicated on the signs or they may be removed when such turns are permitted. Section 2: That there is addedto Ordinance No. 3211 a new section to be known as Everett City Code 8. 12 . 011 to read as follows : 8 . 12 .011 Designation of one-way streets . The following streets in the City of Everett be, and they are hereby designated for vehicular travel in one direction, commonly referred to as one-way streets for use for one-way traffic as follows , to-wit : California Avenue shall be one-way traffic westbound from the intersection of said Street at Lombard Avenue to the intersection of said Street at Rucker Avenue; Wall Street shall be one-way traffic eastbound from the intersection of said Street with Rucker Avenue to the intersection of said Street at Lombard Avenue; Hoyt Avenue shall be one-way traffic northbound from the intersection of Hoyt Avenue at 32nd Street to the intersection of said Hoyt Avenue at 26th Street ; Wetmore Avenue shall be one-way traffic southbound from the intersection of Wetmore Avenue at 26th Street to the intersection of said Wetmore Avenue at 32nd Street . -2-
