August 24,1988 .3 <br /> D. Determine what jobs, service opportunities, , <br /> activates and/or resources the City and/or community can provide to <br /> address the concerns and needs of these youths. <br /> 4. The Youth Ad Hoc Advisory Committee should present the <br /> results of its study along with some specific recommendations to the <br /> mayor and Everett City Council no later than August 30,1989. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes except <br /> Councilmember Stephenson who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> BIOS RECEIVED <br /> Four bids were received for the Riverside Signal System Project as <br /> follows: <br /> Signal Electric $298,080 <br /> U.D.L.Inc. 316,065 <br /> Breaker Electric 359,650 <br /> Totem Electric 3,5,255 <br /> Engineers.Estimate 234,300 <br /> The new project total is $300,000; two additional FAUS Funds <br /> ($30,465) AND 1/2 cent Gas Tax Funds($6,090)are required for the <br /> project. The recommendation is to award the bid to Signal Electric <br /> of Kent,the low bidder for the project. <br /> BID AWARD <br /> ftved by Councilmember Morrow, seconded by Councilmember Overstreet <br /> that the contract for the Riverside Simnel System be awarded to the <br /> low bidder, Signal Electric of Kent, Washington based upon their <br /> proposal end unit lid of unit prices extended for the estimated <br /> total of$298,880 as received at the bid opening on June 30, 1900 <br /> and authorize the Mayor to sign Supplement 62 with the Washington <br /> Stet:Department of Transportation for additional FAUS funds. <br /> • <br /> Roll was celled with ell councilmembers voting yes except <br /> Ceuncilmember Stephenson who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> noved by Councilmember Langus, seconded by Councilmenber Pope, to <br /> authorize the Mayor t: execute an agreement with Paragon Land <br /> Surveying for survey ervices at the Senior Housing and Senior <br /> Center Expansion Project. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmembers voting yes except <br /> • Councilmember Stephenson who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> , <br /> ,1 • <br /> 1 <br />
