However,in the event the street,alley <br /> or portion thereof vacated was acquired at public expense, <br /> htrma UkeTilreVr4gt-N-w:rel equal <br /> to <br /> the tell <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council desires to establish a uniform <br /> policy for the payment of compensation for street end alley <br /> vacations,to provide a method of appraising such streets and alleys <br /> to be vacated and establish criteria concerning partial vacations, <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF EVERETT: <br /> Section 1: Ordinances vacating any street, alley Or any 1 <br /> portion thereof pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 35.79 RCW <br /> shall provide that the ordinance shall not become effective until ! <br /> the owners of property abutting upon the street, alley or any ! <br /> portion thereof so vacated, shall pay one-half the ; <br />!
