239 0 <br /> May 21,1991 <br /> (—) <br /> BUDGET AMENDMENT-PURCHASE MORGAN PROPERTY <br /> Moved by Councilman Gipson, seconded by Councilman Moser to <br /> approve a budget amendment in the amount of$2,300,000 for the <br /> purchase of property known as "Norman Brothers. site (lots 1, <br /> 2, 3,the south 1/2 of 6 and all of lots 7-32 inclusive,Block <br /> 754,for use as transit maintenance and storage facility. <br /> fWgon*12'w:Ilab="fr;no7 ezvPChoalort and 0 <br /> Councilman Overstreet who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> BUDGET AMENDMENT-PARKS TANK REPLACEMENT <br /> Moved by'Councilman Moser, seconded by Councilman Anderson to <br /> approve a budget amendment in the amount of$44,141.89 to cover <br /> the tank replacement contract from Fund 002,General Fund. <br /> Bill Cushman,Finance Director,explained that this was a house <br /> keeping measure required by the auditors. <br /> 0 <br /> Joe Norlovski explained that there were many more storage tanks <br /> In the city that would have to be replaced in the next few <br /> years as required by the State. He also stated that the City <br /> was starting a monitorind system. <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except <br /> Councilman Overstreet who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> BUDGET AMENDMENT-MUNI COURT.COMPUTER EQUIPMENT , • <br /> Mooed by Councilman Gipson, seconded by Councilman Anderson to <br /> approve a budget amendment in the amount of $18,961 for <br /> ...tar terminals, training, and temporary day labor for <br /> Municipal Court with the funding to come from the Criminal <br /> Justice FUnds". <br /> Roll was called with all councilmen voting yes except <br /> Councilman Overstreet who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
