He <br /> further stated the City Council should consider:1)Whether the <br /> City wishes to accept the proposed annexation; 2) Whether the <br /> City will require the simultaneous adoption of a comprehensive <br /> plan:3)Whether the City will require the assumption of all or <br /> f <br /> any portion o existing City indebtedness by the area being <br /> annexed; and 6).Whether the City wishes to instruct the <br /> proponent to address questions concerning <br /> n rning annexation prior to <br /> consideration of the SD% petition by City Council. It was <br /> painted out that issues between jurisdictions haven.t been <br /> addressed yet. <br /> Councilman Diamond asked for a time frame. It was felt that it <br /> would take apprximately 1 1/2 years until all the issues are <br /> addressed. <br /> Louise Britton, 1231 131st SE, spoke in opposition to the <br /> annexation and felt it was breaking a gentleman's agreement <br /> with the City of Mill Creeks <br /> Dorothy Vantleventer, 2012 129th Place SE, encouraged the <br /> applicant to educate the public, encouraged further study and <br /> felt that the proper interlocal agreements need to be in order. <br /> Court Sheehan,2033 136th Place SE, stated that this anexation <br /> e <br /> petition c about because the neighbors understood ita <br /> was the <br /> intention ofn <br /> the City of Mill Creek to annex them. He asked <br /> Council to consider the petition as St is the will of the Ci <br /> people to be annexed into Everett. <br /> 111 Trimm, Director of Community Developmentfor the City of <br /> Mill Creek, urged City Council not to proceed <br /> oceed with this <br /> sitxation at this time. TheCity of Mill Creek would like to <br /> dawn with neighboring jurisdictions and discuss future <br /> growth. <br /> 0 <br />
