July 17,2002 <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Overstreet to nominate Maree Haug as a finalist for City Council <br /> Position No.1. <br /> Moved by Council Member Pope,seconded by Council Member <br /> Campbell to nominate Marian Krell as a finalist for City Council <br /> Position No.1. <br /> Moved by Council Member Overstreet,seconded by Council Member <br /> Campbell to vote on the three finalists;Brenda Stonecipher,Maree <br /> Haug and Marian Krell. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes. <br /> Motion carded. <br /> The City Council then proceeded to vote on the three finalists as follows: <br /> Mame Haug received an affirmative vote from Council Member Gipson. <br /> Madan Krell received affirmative votes from Council Members Pope, <br /> Campbell and Ratioe. Brenda Stonecipher received affirmative votes <br /> from Council Members Olson and Overstreet. The two finalists who <br /> received the most votes were Marian Krell end Brenda Stonecipher. <br /> narrowing the finalists from three to two. <br /> The City Council proceeded to vote on the two finalists as follows:Marian <br /> Krell received affirmative votes from Council Members Pope,Campbell <br /> and Hallos.Brenda Stonecipher received affirmative votes from Council <br /> Members Olson,Gipson and Overstreet.Due to the tie vote another vote <br /> was called for. <br /> The City Council proceeded to vote again on the two finalists as follows: <br /> Marian Council Members ope, <br /> Campbell aind Hatlrel oe.affirmative <br /> Stoneciphern received affirmative vot s <br /> from Council Members Olson,Gipson and Overstreet.Due to a second <br /> de vote the meeting recessed to executive session for further deliberation. <br /> 222 <br />
