October 13,2004 <br /> CONSENT ITEMS <br /> Moved by Council Member Gipson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to approve the following consent agenda items: <br /> RESOLUTION-CLAIMS <br /> To adopt Resolution No.5536 acknowledging the payment of audited <br /> and approved claims against the City of Everett In the amount of <br /> $1,752,820.02 for the period of September 25,2004 through October <br /> 1,2004. <br /> NOTICE OF APPLICATION-TRANSFER OF GROUNDWATER <br /> RIGHTS <br /> To authorize the Public Works Department to publish a notice of <br /> application to transfer groundwater rights to Walter Hall Golf Course, <br /> American Legion Golf Course,and Kasch Park. <br /> Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br /> Member Overstreet who was excused. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> BID AWARD—WATER FILTER PLANT FACILITY IMPROVEMENT <br /> Moved by Council Member Olson,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen that the contract for the Water Filter Plant Facility <br /> Improvement project be awarded to testy Construction,Bainbridge <br /> Island,Washington,based upon their unit prices bid extended for an <br /> estimated total of$1,502,446,including Washington State sales tax, <br /> as received et the bid opening held at 2 p.m.,September 28,2004. <br /> 324 <br />
