February 15,2000 <br /> CITY COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Nielsen stated that the Snohomish County Health District <br /> recently took over responsibility of the Women,Infants,and Children's <br /> Program.He remarked that he was approached by their staff regarding <br /> the dangers of women and small children exiting the back of the building <br /> to the parking lot. He reported that the staff was delighted with the <br /> remedy provided by the Citys Traffic Engineering Department. <br /> Council Member Roberts remarked that he would not be in attendance at <br /> next week's City Council meeting. <br /> Council Member Overstreet reported on his attendance at the Traffic <br /> Advisory Commission. <br /> Council President Stonecipher stated that council agenda item no.5, <br /> authorizing the Mayor to sign a local paradpating agency agreement with <br /> the Washington State Depadment of Transportation for the relocatlon and <br /> construction of sanitary sewer force mains,hes been pulled from the <br /> agenda. <br /> She announced that next week's City Council meeting will begin at B:00 <br /> a.m.due to the length of the agenda. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> Rob Emery,2227 Grand Avenue,spoke regarding Bayside Park and the <br /> neighborhood's desire to have vegetation added to the park and a <br /> pedestrian walkway from the park to West Marine View Drive. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> Moved by Council Member Overstreet,seconded by Council Member <br /> Nielsen to approve the following consent agenda items: <br /> 37 <br />
