February 20,2008 <br /> Signal Timing Report <br /> Ryan Sass,Public Works,gave a report regarding signal timing. He <br /> stated that d is time to replace our central controller.Mayor Stephenson <br /> indicated that consideration has been given and work is being done • <br /> regarding the removal of truck traffic from Pacific and Everett Avenues. • <br /> Traffic Calming Report <br /> Ryan Sass,Public Works,also reported on traffic calming. Presently <br /> there are no traffic calming projects underway. <br /> Mayor Stephenson indicated that if the city council would like to have a <br /> test case that Is possible. <br /> One council member voiced that enforcement may be a better avenue. <br /> Another council member voiced that they would like to see resources put <br /> into school zones and accident prone areas. <br /> Transportation Policies and Obiectives to be Addressed <br /> Council members talked about various policies and objectives they would <br /> like to see addressed.Those discussed were:Grand to Bluff Pedestrian <br /> Overc sing;Street Car Feasibility to move into next phase i.e.financial <br /> feasibility plan;corridor financing,development and redevelopment; <br /> updates regarding CIP IV projects and priority;update regarding the ULI <br /> panel recommendations;and complete streets ordinance and plan. <br /> The city council retreat adjourned at 4:10 p.m. <br /> City Clerk <br /> Read and approved as printed. <br /> /6 <br /> /6/ President <br /> 45 <br />
