(1.16.210) <br /> SECTION 21: STREET DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named officers and assist- <br /> ants in the Street Department, to-wit: <br /> One Superintendent; one Assistant Superintendent; <br /> one Clerk; one Mechanic; one Assistant Mechanic; <br /> two Foremen; ten Truck Drivers; one Heavy Equip- <br /> ment Operator; one Bulldozer Operator; two Grader- <br /> men; three Sweepermen; one Flusherman (night) ; <br /> $' one Cement Finisher; six Utility Laborers, 2nd <br /> year; Four Utility Laborers, 1st year; one or <br /> more Day Laborers <br /> Said officers, assistants and employees shall perform <br /> the duties pertaining to such office as indicated by the name <br /> of their respective employment, and such other duties as the <br /> Superintendent of Streets or Commissioner ♦f Public Works shall <br /> from time to time authorize and direct . (1 .16.220) <br /> SECTION 22: WATER DEPARTMENT <br /> There shall be the following named officers, assistants <br /> and employees in the Water Department of the City of Everett, <br /> to-wit: <br /> One Superintendent; one Assistant Superintendent; <br /> one General Foreman; one Distribution Foreman; one <br /> Secretary-Accountant; one Accountant; one Chief <br /> Clerk; one Clerk; one Senior Engineer; two Junior <br /> Engineers; one Senior Engineering Aide; one Engineer- <br /> ing Aide; one Construction Foreman; two foremen; one <br /> Welder; one Blacksmith; one Machinist; one Inspector; <br /> one Assistant Inspector; one Chief Mechanic; one <br /> Mechanic; four water Control Station Operators; one <br /> Headworks Operator; one Basin Patrolman; one <br /> Carpenter; six Heavy Equipment Operators; five Truck <br /> Drivers; four Servicemen; four Servicemen's Helpers; <br /> one Assistant Construction Foreman; one Chief Meter <br /> Repairman; one Meter Repairman; fifteen Utility <br /> Laborers; four radio technicians, part time; six <br /> Day Laborers; one Records Engineer; one Blacksmith <br /> Helper; one Oiler; one Distribution Utilityman; two <br /> Relief Utilitymeri; two Maintenance Ut ilitymen; one <br /> Engineer; one Gardner; one Construction Aide; one <br /> Lubeman; one Day Laborer, Clerical . <br /> The Superintendent shall be in general charge and have <br /> supervision of the Water Department; The other cfficers, assist- <br /> ' ants and employees shall perform such duties as pertain to the <br /> . nature of their office and as authorized and directed by the <br /> Superintendent of the Water Department and the Commissioner of <br /> Public Works . (1 .16,230) <br /> SECTION 23: ANIMAL SHELTER DEPARTMENT <br /> One Poundmaster; one or more Day Laborers . <br /> It shall be the duty of such employees to perform the <br /> duties as directed by the Commissioner of Safety.
