Task 4. <br />Task 5. <br />Task 6. <br />Task 7. <br />Geotechnical investigation including pavement coring and assessment. <br />Technical memorandum detailing alternatives and the respective benefits and <br />constraints for each alternative. <br />Thirty (30) percent design engineering plans. <br />Public involvement and engagement with all relevant stakeholders. <br />Phase 2: Design Engineering <br />If requested by the City, the consultant shall complete the following design services, which will be <br />authorized and completed at the standard design stages. <br />Task 1. <br />Task 2. <br />Task 3. <br />Task 4. <br />Task 5. <br />Task 6. <br />Task 7. <br />Task 8. <br />Project management. <br />Design for all elements of the project listed below. <br />a. Roadway channelization and design. <br />b. Curb, gutter and sidewalk design. <br />c. Design of bicycle facilities and safety improvements. <br />d. Stormwater design including low impact development. <br />e. Landscaping in support of the design. <br />f. Electrical design of traffic signals, street lighting, and ITS. <br />Supplemental survey and right-of-way tasks not completed by the City including legal <br />descriptions, individual parcel access and easement drawings, and other <br />documentation in support of the design. <br />Traffic control plans and detour routes <br />Utility coordination with the City and other utilities within the project limits. <br />Technical memorandum documenting the final design. <br />Ad -ready plans, specifications, and estimate (PS&E) <br />Public involvement and engagement with all relevant stakeholders. <br />Phase 3: Bid Support Services <br />If requested by the City, the consultant shall provide support during the construction advertising <br />process, which includes but is not limited to responding to bidder questions, preparation of bid <br />addenda as necessary, review of bid proposals, and other pre -award matters. <br />Phase 4: Construction Engineering <br />At completion of the bid award, the City, at its discretion, may elect either to terminate or amend <br />the consultant agreement to include partial or full construction engineering services, which may <br />include but are not limited to the following tasks. <br />1. Responding to contractor requests for information or clarification. <br />2. Reviewing shop drawings and submittals. <br />3. Preparing clarifying details or documents as needed. <br />4. Construction inspection and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and local <br />requirements. <br />5. Preparing record drawings following completion of construction. <br />2 of 5 <br />
